I graduated from the University of Oregon with my Ba. in music composition in 2008. After that I moved back to Hawaii where I'm from and I began teaching private lessons. I have now taught music at several schools and am currently teaching at N.H.K.S. and teaching private lessons after school. I've been teaching private lessons for over 10 years. These books, along with supplementary materials, help the student to learn how to read music and become more comfortable with the piano. Along the way, students will develop their music theory knowledge and gradually become more fluent with their scales, chords, and rhythm. Since then I have been teaching music privately and in public schools for the last 9 years. I have helped students of all levels and had private students win auditions in county and district events on the Trumpet.
