My teaching experience actually began in high school when family friends noticed my skill and asked me to teach their kids. I then later accomplished many things while in Houston, Texas (where I previously lived) including live concert performances with the William Byrd Institute, instruction under renowned professors of music, and starting my own private home based lessons. My philosophy is if it isn't fun; nobody wants to do it. My method of teaching provides simple psycology in making praticing fun. The piano needs to be praticed every day if the student wants to progress! For Children I teach pop and classical piano, where as adults I try to find out why they want to play and what style of music they would like to play. Many adults don't desire to be a concert pianist but, If you'd like to play for fun; maybe play at a party to entertain your guests and you would like to play popular music; there's a class specialized for that.
