Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

For beginning students who are children, I typically start with Faber's Piano Adventures or Suzuki's Piano School, however I am open to other books. Faber focuses more on written and piano practice whereas Suzuki focuses on auditory learning and piano practice. Once the student has progressed to have a grasp of the fundamentals, I will begin to introduce solo repertoire appropriate for their first recital performance. For adults, I try to find out what the student is interested in, and guide my instruction accordingly to keep the lessons engaging and fun, no matter their ability level. Read More
Instruments: Guitar, Music, Electric Guitar, Classical Guitar, Acoustic Guitar
I began giving lessons after graduating from high school in 2017 and continued offering lessons both in-person and online when I went off to study at the University of the Pacific's Conservatory of Music. After graduating, I spent about 5 months working with my local Guitar Center offering lessons to people of all ages and in a variety of genres and styles. I primarily teach guitar, but as a music therapist, a significant portion of my experience includes singing with guitar accompaniment, so I am always open to teaching guitar students who are also interested in developing their vocal skills (all instrumentalists should know how to sing!). My teaching centers on preparing students for successful musical performance. I do this by providing easily doable practice techniques and exercises that will advance their ability to perform the songs and pieces they are keen to learn and are practicing, as students are more likely to continue with music if they are having fun at it. Very often, notation for pop songs doesn't convey the actual recorded song, and many songs have never been notated. Read More

I have two main goals as a teacher, no matter the age or experience level of the student. The first is that the student enjoys learning their instrument, so I tailor my teaching and curriculum specifically to each individual student. The second is that the student is consistently improving each week, and properly motivated to practice. This is the only way they will achieve their musical and artistic dreams. My top priority is developing students into well rounded musicians. Read More

For kid students, I have materials that were particularly made for kids with pictures and photos instructions that helps children memorize music in a fun manner. Once we starting to have a grasp of the fundamentals, we'll start learning songs that students choose and learn techniques and theories as we go. Same thing goes to adult students as well. I also create my own custom lesson materials for my students based on their needs. Read More
