She completed with a Masters of Music as well as an Artist Diploma at University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music under Dr. Catharine Lees and Mr. Masao Kawasaki. I started on my main instrument at the time, clarinet, and have since branched out to other woodwinds that I was also proficient and skilled in (saxophone, flute, and oboe). Once the student has progressed to have a grasp of the fundamentals, I will begin to introduce solo repertoire appropriate for their first recital performance. For adults, I try to find out what the student is interested in, and guide my instruction accordingly to keep the lessons engaging and fun, no matter their ability level.
