Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

After receiving her Bachelor’s degree, she moved to Cincinnati to continue her studies with a Graduate Incentive Award Scholarship. She completed with a Masters of Music as well as an Artist Diploma at University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music under Dr. Catharine Lees and Mr. Masao Kawasaki. At CCM she studied chamber music under Ariel Quartet and was a member of CCM Philharmonia and Concert Orchestra. She performed four solo recitals and two chamber recitals during her Master’s program. I have been teaching private lessons since I was in college. I started on my main instrument at the time, clarinet, and have since branched out to other woodwinds that I was also proficient and skilled in (saxophone, flute, and oboe). Within the past 10 years, I started teaching guitar and voice as well, as I was playing/ singing those more often in church settings. For beginning students who are children, I typically start with Hal Leonard's Essential Elements. Once the student has progressed to have a grasp of the fundamentals, I will begin to introduce solo repertoire appropriate for their first recital performance. For adults, I try to find out what the student is interested in, and guide my instruction accordingly to keep the lessons engaging and fun, no matter their ability level.
