Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. My methods vary student to student- we all learn differently and my objective is to find what works, wether it be a quick demonstration, or a complete breakdown right to the fundamentals. No student is too slow nor incapable. One of the things I really keep my eye on is technique- nothing is more detrimental to a student's progress than poor technique and adaptation! Because of how unique and diverse a student's goals, needs, and experience are, my teaching style varies greatly between student to student. The work we typically do is a combination of working on fundamentals, etudes, solo repertoire, sight reading, basic music theory, listening skills, improvising, and composition.
