My teaching experience started around 5 years ago, as I began teaching private and group lessons in the New York City public school system. Encouraging regular practice on a consistent schedule is one of the key points I like to emphasize for students, as it tends to help the student strengthen their gifts and deepen their passion for singing. I've also found that a combination of classical and modern training can diversify a student's music education, cultivating a spirit of exploration and curiosity to learn about other genres and techniques. I have many methods because I do not provide the same lesson plan for every student. Not everyone's voice is the same. Not everyone's skill level is the same. Not everyone's level of confidence is the same, and certainly not everyone's way of learning is the same. Knowing this, I focus on every individual's needs, goals, and unique talents to develop a custom lesson plan to ensure true progress. This ensures that every student has consistent progress that works best FOR THEM! After the basics are mastered, I'll introduce the skills needed for a first recital. Read More
