My name is Tramelle. (Truh-Mel) Within the last 5 years, I have known the pleasure of having studied piano pedagogy under one of the greatest piano teachers in the U.S ; the late Harding Epps.(65). I’ve studied music my entire life and have undergone the strenuosity & rigors that are found in the works of some of the greatest composers of various time periods. Moreover, I now wish to inspire and give the gift of music to all individuals who seek it wholeheartedly.
I am composed of several properties—in regards to musical capacity—that work for the betterment of my ability to teach.
Much like my Communicative Skills, Inspirability, Disposition, and overall Tenacity. I look forward to the very many confabulations to come. I anticipate being the fountain at which your musical/pianistic desires are saturated and further cultivated into myriad gifts of happiness.
My teaching experience began with my junior year in high school. After having withheld the majority knowledge necessary for my own particular developing-repertoire; i began to instruct and tutor my peers personally. In what time that I received to cultivate this desire of mine--to teach, i noticed that my transmittance to the youth was as a medium between what appears to be more transfixing than actually so. It was found that the results were rewarding, in me having been able to see how much a difference the presentation of knowledge makes in matters of retention.
My method for teaching is to customize an appropriate style depending upon the necessity of what the students needs are. Typically, for a novice-piano/keyboard student, I began with one or two Hanon drills to strengthen the third and fourth fingers; as they are usually the weaker fingers in beginners. From that point, the student may express stylistic desires, as prioritizing the students interest is a profound trait for ensuing retention. Beyond this point, the lessons follow an under-shadowed ordinance while keeping interest the focal point, to guide learning. Typical students may expect to learn from a multiplicity of learning materials outside of my own personal knowledge: I.E- John Thompson's First Grade learning Course, John Thompson's 2nd Grade Learning Course, Hymnal Materials.(Etc)
My teaching style consists of helping students view the reward found in developing the musical talents and gifts some of us possess. I do not necessarily believe practice makes you perfect, however i do believe practice makes you better; as will that same practice make evident of what your tendencies of studying are. My philosophy is nobody is ever too young or old to learn to play the piano. When you start from the rear, you just have to run twice as fast. You set the pace at which learning and development will take. My job is to administer the information in a manner tailored for your understandability, and promote excellence in the highest order.
Select all the days/times the student would be available to start lessons. Selecting "3pm - 7pm" means the student can start as early as 3pm or start as late as 7pm. It is important that you select as many days and the widest window of start times for each day as possible. That will help us make a match with one of our teachers.Ok
