My work encompasses classical lied accompaniment, sonata-duo, piano trio, and collaborations with dancers. I am a Collaborative Piano Fellow at The Aspen Summer Music Festival and Fall Island Vocal Arts Seminar. My other summer engagements have included The Collaborative Piano Institute, Domaine Forget International Music Festival, and Todi Music Academy. In 2013, I graduated with a Bachelor's in Music from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee's Peck School of the Arts. I honed my craft of private teaching and also specializing in Balkan folk works, arranged for flute and secondary woodwinds. In 2019, I extended these skills over into Vocalism: singing, beatboxing, rapping, and spoken word. Ergo, my best work to date is an original composition called "LatinAmerica". I have a vibrant personality and I love teaching, especially when it comes to helping students grasp things where traditional teaching methods have proved to be intimidating or unaccommodating. I have performed in a variety of ensembles and have produced multiple volumes of my own compositions. My musical background is rooted in jazz, funk, soul, and latin music, and my teaching method will tend to emphasize "grooves," with a special eye toward harmony, syncopation, comping, and improvisation.
