Over the past 13 years, I have taught piano, music theory, and music composition to a diverse group of learners, including school-age children, college students, and adults of distinct backgrounds. From 2014-2018 I received the Graduate Teaching Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh, where I led piano courses for non-Music majors, and held weekly recitations and office hours for required courses for Music majors. I have a Bachelor's degree in Music Performance from the Universidad de Chile, an Artist Diploma Program, and a Master's degree in Music Performance, both from Duquesne University. I started my career in music when I was 13, and I knew I wanted to dedicate my life to playing and teaching music. I have been capitalizing my love of music with teaching since I was in high school, giving piano and cello lessons to children and adults of all ages and proficiency levels. I enjoy organizing yearly recitals for families and the local community to attend. I was involved with PMEA and the local Schubert Club in my area, participating in festivals, earning a gold cup in two years, and later volunteering with staff while my own students participated in the festivals.
