I love the drums! Tapping, beating, thumping on everything around the house drove my parents to sign me up for my first drum lesson when I was 10.  I've been playing ever since!  I studied with Dr. William Albin at Miami Universtiy (Ohio) while in high school as well as with Judy Moonert at Western Michigan University.  I was classically trained at WMU (Orchestra, Symphonic Band, etc.) but was very active playing the drumset for the faculty jazz quartet. For beginers I will start them off working through a beginig method book, gradually learning new skills and notes along the way. Eventually we will work on various solo pieces such as classical repertoire, or even movie or pop tunes.
