I teach students the basic guitar skills and musicianship. I believe with a good foundation students can progress really quickly. For beginning students, I teach them basic chord structures and chord progressions. For intermediate student, I teach them scales, arpeggios and advance chord progression. And for advance students, I teach them different chord voicing, use of arpeggios during improvisation and modal theory. I began teaching guitar 10 years ago after receiving my Bachelor's of Music with a Studio Art Minor from the University of Wisconsin at Oshkosh. With an Associates degree in Occupational Music, I combine text book fundamentals with a creative outlook and professional stage experience.
