Lesson plans are developed based on the students abilities, progress, and expressed goals. I have been teaching since my undergrad years starting in 2001 as adjunct faculty at Walnut Ridge Elementary School until 2004. Since then I have taught privately at students homes part time. I believe that weekly lessons are the most beneficial for a students learning and productivity. I started tutoring students on the flute at a very young age and have done it off and on since then. I like to play with students and encourage performances and help with competitions. When I was in school, I competed in solo and ensemble competitions and also performed in All-State Band and other honor bands.
