I work with what level and progression suits you, and I'm super-easy to get along with. Also, I believe in positive reinforcement. There are some old school teachers who sometimes degrade a pupil when they're not doing an exercise correctly. Drummer Cory Cox is a native of Houston, TX. Inspired by his familys passion for music, he studied privately and worked with the youth choir at his church at age eight. Developing an interest in music, he enrolled into the arts program at Johnston Middle School and The High School for The Performing and Visual Arts. I have been teaching for a little over a year now. My students range from ages 8 to almost 60. I specialize in helping beginners and intermediate drummers. I truly enjoy watching a musician accomplish something that they may not have thought was possible. I have so much fun playing the drums.
