Along with that, over the summer I also teach the front ensemble for Washington High School. And am currently teaching front ensemble for Western Frederick Indoor Percussion. I have been playing drums for 14 years and started when I was 10. The influence I had from other drummers that I saw was what sparked my interest in playing them. As far as books go, I prefer the Hal Leonard method, especially for beginner musicians. I combine visual, audio and kinesthetic learning methods to tailor to anyone's needs.
