William continued his education by participating in lessons and sitting in on his father's combo sessions at OSU after school, which allowed him to develop his skills in jazz performance, comping, and trading 4s at a college level while still in high school. After graduation, William taught and ran the Beechcroft Drumline for three years before moving on to private teaching and gigging. As not all students will have the desire to become professional musicians, the ultimate goal is to build lifelong lovers of the arts...and if the student decides that music is a career, then the lessons are geared accordingly. For begining guitar, bass, and key board students I generally work with several method books, and supply supplimentary materials as required. I believe that each student is unique, and what works for one student might not be sutiable for another.
