Throughout his teaching career, Jamie has also participated in many performance and recording projects both as band leader of The Rift, a guest, and a solo artist. During the school year 2016 - 2017 he was a Show Director for the School of Rock - Mamaroneck. Most recently he designed, produced, and taught residencies, culminating concerts, and family workshops for LEAP NYC as a Teaching Artist. I am a proffesional saxophonist and woodwind doubler and have played at many prostegious venues throughtout Southern California such as Catalina Jazz Club, the Blue Whale and Segerstrom Hall. I lead a modern jazz fusion band that has been featured on television and I am a sought after freelance musician due to my understanding of the Jazz and American musical tradition as well as my strong personal musical identity. Eric Letta is saxophonist, clarinetist, composer, recording artist, and teacher. His roots are deeply grounded in the traditions of jazz, but his exciting and creative style incorporates all genres, such as r&b, funk, and modern bop. A native of Akron, Ohio, he was a member of the Ohio All-State Jazz Ensemble before earning a degree from Kent State University.
