Throughout college and graduate school, I maintained a small studio of a handful of students. After graduating in 2016, I began to grow my private studio as well as working with music schools throughout Denver, including Denver Public Schools, and Douglas County Schools. I believe Suzuki is a great place to start, as it gives learners a chance to practice specific technical and musical skills before moving on to more challenging material. Suzuki also emphasizes listening to professionals perform pieces you're working on, which I believe is important as it allows you to "absorb" good habits. I believe in breaking down complex musical concepts into bite-sized lessons that include repetition and practice to achieve mastery. Read More
