Cello Lessons in Ambler, PA

Instruments: Cello

For early students, I typically start with the Suzuki books, as I like the organized technical and musical progression of each piece. As the students develop I begin to add supplimentary materials such as etude and scale books. Students can progress from open strings to Bach with ease. More advanced students can expect a healthy dose of scales, Popper etudes, concertos, and Bach.  Read More

Hi there! I am a live-long musician. I consider myself a student as well as a teacher. I believe that music has the power to create powerful community bonds and connections. My lessons are tailored to this philosophy, exploring the music that really moves my students and imparts the ability to actively participate in musical communities as well as communities that transcend music. It's all about unleashing the creative joy inside of us and expressing ourselves through music. Read More

Yearning a deep and fulfilled interest in classical music has enabled me to uniquely interpret classical music on a complex analytical music level & compositionally dissecting music. I am patient and active with each of my students. I allow the student their own preference as to how lessons are to be arranged (e.g YOU pick the music = YOU decide your pace)...I encourage my students to practice and come prepared with material they either have ambition to learn and all the other little steps involved in being diligent with an instrument.
