I believe in encouraging my students and supporting them, having them reach acheviable goals and having them work at a pace that is realistic I believe will develop their understanding and love for music. By combining a students interest with essential fundamentals of music I have found that my previous students have advanced their playing whilst denjoying the experience. When passing on my love for music I like to play a piece of music to my students and try to convey why this music is important to me and I like to hear pieces that my students love so I can see where they are coming from. The methods that shape my teaching are diverse, but at the core is the Dalcroze approach, which transforms music theory into a lived, physical, and intuitive experience. I begin with practical exploration and adapt each lesson to the individual needs, interests, and learning style of every student. I truly want my students to succeed and I will do everything in my power to help them accomplish that! Read More
