I try to make sessions memorable and keep the content engaging so that students can carry that with them throughout the week. I find if students aren't engaged in what the current task is, they will find it difficult to move forward and progress through their learning process. Once they have a grasp of fundementals, I will work with them in chord theory and improvesation. As a student progresses, I will focus more on their area of musical interest.
