My methods differ for each instrument. For piano I will start with Alfred's basic piano course if the student is a beginner. It helps students visualize the basic techniques for sitting and playing the piano in a way that will prevent injury. From there we walk through the book until the student understands how the keys and reading music works. After this, I start to assign different songs and/or assignments that match the student's learning style and interest in music. Read More

There is no baby talk in my lessons! Although they may have less of a musical vocabulary, I believe all students have an awesome musical ability, and I view my role is to guide and and support them from eye level. I treat all of my students like great musicians and I am simply holding the door for them. Lessons will start with a great warm up and then once it's been determined what the need is, we will set a goal. Read More

My teaching method varies depending on their age. From 4 years to 8 years i use an advance learning method, which consists of developing reading and playing based on color coding music notes. The first characteristic called Theory consists of the learning everything concerning music theory and the instrument. Read More

I start with pushing students to develop good habits early on in their playing. I like to get my students playing songs in their genre of choice as soon as possible. This method generates interest in their instrument from the very begining. I select their repetoire based on what techniques we are currently working on and find songs that will force them to develop those techniques in order for them to effectively perform each piece. Since then, I have had the privilege ofteaching1000's of students, and mentoring several college students.
