I like to create lesson plans around what kind of music the student wants to learn. For example, most young girls want to learn Disney princess songs. So I print them off their own copies of the songs that they had expressed an interest in learning. I feel like if the student is not interested in playing or singing the music that I am giving them it could be the best curriculum in the world, but it won't help them learn if they are not actively engaged in the music they are singing or playing. Chris was a member of UNT's A Capella Choir, ranked among the top five undergraduate choirs in the nation. He has worked with numerous acclaimed performers and voice teachers including Laurel Miller, Lella Cuberli, Richard Croft, Dr. Stephen Morscheck and Dr. Stephen Austin. He has led, taught and performed in small singing ensembles that performed vocal music from a variety of genres including 16th-Century Madrigals, Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen and Barbershop. Read More

I'm a passionate and motivated teacher who loves working with students and sharing my love of music. In 2017, I graduated from UTSA with a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance. I worked closely with Opera San Antonio for several years. Then, in 2024 I graduated from UMKC with a Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance. Performing all over the world has been one of the greater experiences of my life as a musician, and I've had the opportunity to sing both with the New York Dramatic Voices as well as touring the United Kingdom with Music Across the Pond.
