Eva-Maressa R

Instruments: Piano, Voice

I work out of Bastien and Alfreds book and encourage my students to perform online, family parties, and nursing homes. Tailor each lesson to the students specific strengths and areas of difficulty. And tailor repetoire to students wants and needs choosing material and approaching repetoire with the objective of maintaining students passion and enthusiasm for music while exploiting their strengths and achievement. For singers I make sure they never lose passion for singing and articulate theory and vocal objectives in singing warmups to be carried over into their singing. Read More

Instruments: Piano, Flute, Piccolo

I usually recommend piano as a starting instrument for children at least 5 years of age. Most often, I use the Alfred Piano Library Series of coordinating lesson books. I am most comfortable teaching beginner to intermediate level piano students. My main teaching instrument is Flute, and I can successfully teach ages 9 and up depending on the size of the student (sometimes younger if a curved head joint is used). I enjoy using various method books to develop fundamental skills and then pair these with appropriate level solo works. Read More
