Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

My teaching experiences started when I was beginning my bachelor studies in 2008. I worked in elementary and high schools programs, teaching trumpet, directing small and big ensembles for many years, I was Trumpet Instructor of a Youth Symphonic Orchestra Called: Sinfonia por el Peru del tenor Juan Diego Flores. With the beginning students I use Alfred and Bastien piano instructional books. Also, the children simultaneously learn to read notes and understand music notation. In my teaching method the goal is to combine high level of technique with musicality and individual interpretation. The beginners’ lessons are systematized as a successful blend of fun musical games and new academic material, thus learning new is fun and inspiring. In teaching adults, after they are comfortable with the basics, they can play songs in the genre they prefer - classical, pop or jazz. Read More

I first talk with my students to figure out their goals. Once a reasonable goal has been agreed upon, I enthusiastically help them jump right into playing their instrument. By breaking up portions of the lesson with review of simpler pieces, I encourage my students to play fun and simpler things as well, so that they do not beocme frustrated. I always bring my positive attitude to each lesson, and have the students write down what to work on after each lesson. Read More

I usually start off with Bastian Primer Book. Then I move on to the FaberFaber Piano Adventures Series. In conjunction with this series,I will supplement with other pieces that I feel will inspire and challenge them. if the student requests a certain piece or style of piece they would like to work on, I definitely make sure to grant it to them. I am an energetic and encouraging instructor who loves seeing students get excited about learning new things. I have B.M. in Acoustic Composition and Electronic Music, 10 years of playing/performing French horn, 5 rigorous years of piano instruction and performance, and a whole lifetime of singing.
