I started teaching 1st graders about basic music concepts at the local elementary school when I was in 7th grade. Once I got to high school and I started to get serious about music, I began teaching private lessons to middle school and other high school students. By the time I was in college, I was capable of teaching lessons to students of any age or skill level. I now teach a wide variety of students between the ages of 6 and 73 and have taught many genres including: Jazz, classical, pop, hip hop, blues, rb, samba, soul, funk, rock, and avant-garde. I taught piano, flute, theory of music, at professional music schools in Albania and worked as chief music specialist of the Center of Culture for Children, organizing and directing special musical events and recitals for elementary, middle, and high school students. In March 2011, I was the guest artist at the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts Spring Jazz Festival in Houston, TX.
