My own vocal-study is rooted from the pedagogical line of Manuel Garcia. I believe that the young voice must be given time to develop. I build an awareness of the body's physiological role in healthy-singing; breath is the key to phonation (singing). Once the fundamentals are grasped, I spend time teaching musicianship. By gaining a deeper understanding of musicianship, we become well-rounded musicians and therefore, better singers.
