My teaching experience began when I was in college. I taught trombone and euphonium private lessons for several years in the school district that I attended when I was a student. Additionally, I also have done All State Masterclasses for the TMEA trombone etudes. Encouraging regular practice, building the life-long skill of discipline, and hard work are key skills that I enjoy getting to emphasize to my students, as it has a tendency to build student progression and ultimately gain a passion for learning the instrument. Sound is the most important aspect of trumpet playing, and the good thing is you can practice pretty much anything and still focus on your sound. For beginners I usually supplement their beginner band book with some simple drills from Schlossberg's Daily Drills or some I wrote myself. The Clarke's Technical Studies and Arban's Complete Conservatory Method are great books as well that I use with most of my intermediate/advanced students. Read More

Originally from Thailand, I have performed in various professional and festival ensembles including around the world, including Tucson Symphony Orchestra, Tucson Pops, Arizona Opera, Ture Concord Voices and Orchestra, Akron Symphony Orchestra, Siam Philharmonic Orchestra, Bangkok Opera and Philharmonic Winds (Singapore). I was a member of Spoleto Festival USA in 2016 and 2017, and, in 2015, I participated in Aspen Music Festival.
