Music has been a huge part of my life since birth. Both of my grandmothers were musicians, one a pianist, and the other an opera singer. My siblings and I all started learning an instrument at young ages, mine being flute. I later started learning guitar. Eventually I started performing and touring solo and with full bands and recording in professional recording studios. For beginning students who are children, I really like to focus on technique. From experience, I know that the voice changes as we grow, so I find it extremely important to be able to make sure my students have the grasp of proper technique and breath-technique. With this, as their voice changes and develops, they will find it much easier to grasp how to control it properly.
