I began teaching music at a daycare when I was twenty years old (I am currently 24). I taught private piano and guitar lessons on a weekly basis. My youngest student at the time was a year and a half and my oldest student was twelve years old. I learned very quickly that one of the most important things is to inspire a love of music in each student because if you do not enjoy what you are doing you will never want to practice and if you don't want to practice there can be no improvement since forced practice is nothing more than another chore. Eventually I started performing and touring solo and with full bands and recording in professional recording studios. Throughout my adult years, I've been teaching multiple instruments (guitar, voice, bass, ukulele, and flute) both privately and in group settings. Read More
Instruments: Voice
For beginning students who are children, I really like to focus on technique. With this, as their voice changes and develops, they will find it much easier to grasp how to control it properly. For beginner, intermediate and advanced students, no matter what age, I also like to develop a personalized plan of what works best for their voice and style. Read More
