Instruments: Voice

As a performer and life-long student of singing, I can empathize with challenges that students regularly face and may encounter in the future. Instruments: Guitar, Voice, Bass Guitar, Double Bass, Music

I think it is important to keep the oral tradition of teaching alive so most of the content during lessons will be learnt by ear, though supplemental physical materials will be used. The student will start learning songs that they choose right off the bat, this will keep them engaged and more likely to practice. Read More

Instruments: Piano, Guitar, Voice, Violin, Flute, Ukulele, Recorder, Piccolo, Music, Keyboard, Acoustic Guitar

For piano students I usually use Piano Adventures method books while supplementing with scales, pop and classical repertoire, theory, ear training, history and more. For ukulele and guitar we focus on strumming patterns, rhythm, chords, and repertoire anywhere from rock or pop to classical. Sometimes I will use a method book for guitar or ukulele students if they like that fit. I subscribe to Everand to access a library of music regularly for my students. Read More

Taking into account what the student wants to achieve in lessons, I will then introduce music to them that will help them achieve their musical goals. Read More

Select all the days/times the student would be available to start lessons. Selecting "3pm - 7pm" means the student can start as early as 3pm or start as late as 7pm. It is important that you select as many days and the widest window of start times for each day as possible. That will help us make a match with one of our teachers.
