I have been labeled a passionate, patient, and fun instructor. I focus on goal driven lessons entailing theory, ear training, repertoire, technique, and history. I studied ethnomusicology and Japanese music in graduate school, so my teaching style is inclusive and diverse. I have been performing in orchestra since the age of 15 and have performed in ensembles such as band, world music, Latin music, jazz, electronic music, and more. My teaching experience has been recent, having taught at Capital City Lighthouse Charter School for a year, teaching music to elementary students, and then for two months at Jacksonville Lighthouse Charter School, also teaching music to elementary students. However, I have been playing clarinet for 12-13 years. I graduated Henderson State University with a bachelors degree in Instrumental Music Education in the spring of 2021.
