I approach teaching music as building skills as a person first, and music follows. Teaching music means teaching confidence, determination, perseverance, and concentration. I work on all of these skills with my students, and how they relate to playing an instrument. I have experience teaching children from kindergarten, up to high school and adult students, and can change my instructional methods quickly depending on student needs. Read More

Learning to play an instrument is one of the most fulfilling accomplishments that a person can achieve, no matter the age or skill level. Read More

My teaching experience dates back to about twelve years old. I have taught my cousins, their friends, neighbors, older adults, and children as young as six. I learned from various instructors during my childhood and teenage years. I even gave lessons in college to help fund my trip to Spain. I have continued to give lessons up until last month to students around Georgia. I like to play fun stuff, but I also realize that there should be a variety of things that you learn so that you are well versed in music. Read More
