At the age of 9 I was introduced to music and this has allowed me to have a passion for what I love. I enjoy working with students to help them further their dream and walk in their purpose through music. I am currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Oboe Performance at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts studying with Jaren Atherholt. As an orchestral player, I have had the privilege performed with the UNCSA Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Maestros Larry Rachleff and Christopher Lees, and with the UNCSA Ballet Orchestra in their 2018 and 2019 production of The Nutcracker. I was born in Albania and began my music education at age six in a professional music school. I studied piano for eight years as my primary instrument and continued four years as a secondary as the flute became my primary and favorite instrument.I graduated with honors from the Academy of Fine Arts in Tirana, and was granted the American equivalent to my degree, a Bachelors in Music Education, with a Major in Flute Performance.I have received recognition as a teacher and musician.
