For young beginners on piano (ages 4-6), I use Faber's "My First Piano Adventure." For beginners ages 7 and up, I use both Faber's "Piano Adventures" and the Alfred's Piano Library. For all students I try to incorporate all elements of music by including appropriate amounts music history and theory into my lessons. For beginners, I tend to utilize Trevor Wye exercises, and slowly incorporate small musical pieces.
