I am extremely passionate about music and have been driven my whole life, so I show my passion in my teaching by my exuberant and fun teaching style. I like to focus on long term and short term projects to build confidence in a variety of ways. I expect regular practice if not daily, and I ask questions during lessons to stimulate critical thinking. My teaching style is fully centered around the student. I believe every instrumentalist learns differently, so I tailor my instruction to match each student's unique learning style. I don’t rush my students; instead, I allow them to grow at a pace that’s best for them. At the beginning of our lessons, I take time to understand who they are, their goals, and what motivates them.
