I have been labeled a passionate, patient, and fun instructor. I focus on goal driven lessons entailing theory, ear training, repertoire, technique, and history. I studied ethnomusicology and Japanese music in graduate school, so my teaching style is inclusive and diverse. I have been performing in orchestra since the age of 15 and have performed in ensembles such as band, world music, Latin music, jazz, electronic music, and more. Undergraduate Flute Instructor at CSU, Sacramento. Honey grew up in Maumelle, Arkansas and attended Oak Grove High School. My teaching experience starts when I was in high school. I taught private lessons as well as the lead instructor in our percussion class granted by the director. When I was in high school, I wrote to percussion scores for our marching shows. In my senior year, I was picked up by a musical touring group, and I was able to play drum set with professionals.
