Honey began her career as a flutist at age twelve. After growing up in a small town in Arkansas, she moved to Michigan to complete her Degree in Music Performance at Eastern Michigan University and is happy to bring all that she has learned back to her hometown of Maumelle, Arkansas.
Honey has been teaching private and group lessons for the past fourteen years. Co-Director of the California State University of Sacramento Flute Choir. Undergraduate Flute Instructor at CSU, Sacramento. Honey grew up in Maumelle, Arkansas and attended Oak Grove High School. While at Oak Grove, Honey qualified for Allstate Band every year she was elligible and took home first place medals from the State Level Solo and Ensemble competions.
Honey uses all of the top rated methods and designs a personalized plan for each student and is able to teach lessons in the comfort of your own home or her home based studio.
Lessons are structured to help each student acheive their individual goals. My influences are many and contain a broad spectrum of artists. I love classical music as well as contemporary music for the flute.
