I use many ideas from various sources to combine with my instruction methods; All with a gradient level in mind rising to a higher plateau of musical knowledge and understanding. My experience with teaching music began on my college campus when the students came up to me asking me to teach them certain songs to play. I did this for a small fee and got them prepared to play it live in front of friends and family. Soon after that, my adviser had me help lead the student teacher program at the Logan county park district and we started off with 6 students and now we have over 8 students for each student-teacher in our program and now we have more online material for the students. I graduated with my Bachelor of Music Degree in Vocal Performance from Oberlin Conservatory in 1986. While there, I studied with Richard Miller, regarded by many as one of the greatest voice teachers of the 20th century. Millers books on singing are now standard texts in music schools all over the world.
