My teaching style is very regimented in the direction goal-setting and interests. Realistically setting goals is important for students of all abilities. Comparison from one student to the other is detrimental to the student's success as a musician, so I will tailor the progress to fit every need. I will also get the student involved with groups where they can further their learning and abilities. I am a young passionate and motivated musician who loves interacting with students and sharing my love for music. I am currently a student at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro majoring in Music performance with a concentration in Jazz. Mainly based in the North Carolina region I have performed all over the east coast in clubs venues and jazz festivals. I have had the opportunity to share the stage with a number of top notch musicians and have even taken my band to host one of the late night jam sessions at the Pittsburg International Jazz festival.
