Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. I have taught several of my peers and young students alike in the art of trumpet playing! My main goal in a lesson is to build the fundamentals and branch out from that basic understanding of the instrument. In any form of music, especially classical, a musician must have a firm understanding of the basics in order to excel in their musical future. So therefore, I may teach a small tune to student and when it sounds good I'll show them how the music lines up with that, so they'll always focus on their sound and not just read notes off the page. Before this, I taught elementary school-age children in summer camp, was a lead teacher at a preschool for children ages 1-5, and taught solo French horn students from local high schools throughout my college career.
