I am a motivated, hard-working performer and teacher. I am a very versatile musician who has studied classical, jazz, blues, rock, and many other genres. I play regularly all over North Carolina and South Carolina with a rock band and a jazz trio. I also work with musical theater groups playing in the pit orchestras. My methods will depend to a degree upon each individual student's musical tastes and ambitions. For example, I would put much more focus on developing picking hand foundations for a classical guitarist while the fretting hand would receive more early attention for the metal shredder.
