Instruments: Piano, Guitar, Voice, Trumpet, Trombone, Saxophone, Flute, Clarinet, Drums, Ukulele, Recorder, French Horn, Piccolo, Orchestral Percussion, Keyboard, Electric Guitar, Djembe

For piano students, I prefer Alfred's methods, whether the adult or for beginners. For band and orchestra, I use Essential Elements (or whatever their school is using), and supplement with Rubank's methods. For voice, I concentrate on whatever the student is interested in, with a foundation of good technique and understanding of the voice range and how to control it, with some solfege and sight-singing mixed in. Whatever the instrument, I follow and listen to the student to understand what they need, and change my curriculum to suit them. Read More

Instruments: Piano, Guitar, Voice, Violin, Cello, Trumpet, Saxophone, Flute, Clarinet, Drums

I'm very passionate about teaching and love to work with all ages of students. I had a studio in Mountain Top, PA for 25 years until our family moved to Utah. I recently relocated to the Lehigh Valley. I've performed with many orchestras and have coached many students to be able to compete and perform at Carnegie Hall for many years. I take great pride in being able to teach on an individual basis, meaning I teach according to what the student needs and wants to be taught. Read More

Instruments: Saxophone, Flute, Clarinet

My methods vary greatly depending on the student's goals and experience. Through the first few years of study, an emphasis on the fundamentals of music and instrumental skills is required. I couple these with the development of repertoire that fits the needs and goals of that student. Read More

Instruments: Piano, Saxophone, Flute, Clarinet

I'm a multi-instrumentalist who's been performing on piano since I was 14 back in my hometown of Austin, Texas. In 2009, I moved to the east coast to continue my education at William Paterson University. Over the years, my teachers have been instrumental in my success, and I strive to pass the lessons I received from them on to my own students. Those teachers have included Alex Bohrer, Paul White, and Jeff Hellmer in Texas, Vincent Herring and Harold Mabern at William Paterson, Gary Thomas at Peabody, and many others. Read More

Instruments: Saxophone

It is most important to me that my students become passionate about what they do! I realize that every student learns differently and has different interests than my own. Because of this, I like to cater my lessons to what they would like to do as often as possible and through this I find creative ways to incorporate fundemental technical elements into the lesson. This can be through creating patterns to practice using the material of a musical phrase from their favorite song or expanding their playing range on the instrument by playing it in different keys and octaves. It is important that you select as many days and the widest window of start times for each day as possible. That will help us make a match with one of our teachers.
