For piano students, I love using the Dozen - A - Day books because they include many different 5-finger exercises that are really helpful in warming the fingers. I adapt my instructional methods uniquely to each student and the instrument that they'd like to learn. For some instruments, I refer to specific methods that I have experience in. For example, for Piano I would refer to the Suzuki method for young children, while for Euphonium/Baritone and Trombone I would refer to Alfred's Accent on Achievement series. I am a multi-instrumental teaching, recording, performing, and touring musician from Southern California. Since I started playing flute in 6th grade, I knew that I wanted to be a music educator and began playing any instrument I could get my hands on. From school orchestras and jazz bands to private lessons, I became a versatile multi-instrumentalist teacher and professional performer on guitar, bass, piano, flute, and voice.
