I have great joy in seeing my students succeed! When you succeed, I succeed. Together we are a team! I will correct you on the spot when there is an error, so you don't keep doing an incorrect guitar hand gesture. Skills my students learn with me include sight-reading, discovering new genres and improvisation. The sky is the limit! I will work on your songs (orginal or covers) with you to develop your skills. I worked in a pre-school for over three years before I decided to pursue music fully. I began by establishing my own band with our own unique musical style that incorporates influences from cultures through out the world! Working with my band, I would sometimes give them singing lessons with the information I had learned from my own (exceptional) Voice Teacher. It was by applying my teaching skills to teach the singing techniques/ abilities that I had acquired through my own lessons and self-study, that I discovered that I can teach voice lessons! If they want to learn the classical style, I will provide them with beginning classical etudes. I work around the student to ensure the best possible learning experience. Read More

My name is Jeehoon. I’ve studied voice performance over 15 years in Korea and the United States. In 2018, I completed and received a doctoral degree at the University of Minnesota. For 15 years, I conducted church and professional choirs and participated in many performances as an opera singer on stage. Through these experiences, I was able to know how to sing naturally and comfortably without any artificial sound. It ultimately became my goal when I teach my students. Read More
