Whatever type of music they are interested in playing, I find several examples to pull from that and use it as teaching material and relate it back to our foundational training. There is nothing more fulfilling that seeing my students become passionate about the guitar. I love seeing the weekly improvements and satisfaction they receive when learning a new skill. I understand each student is different and learns at their own pace but that doesn't mean I won't still motivate them to improve. I know from experience how important everyday practice can be.
