In May of 2014, I graduated from Manhattan School of Music with a Master of Music degree in Orchestral Performance. I also received my Bachelor of Music degree in 2008 from Manhattan School of Music. I was interested in teaching from a young age; I loved to play school with my friends. I started tutoring in high school, as well as teaching private flute lessons. I have taught private lessons since 2017 and have loved every moment of it, both with beginners and with more advanced high school students. I began working as a marching band technician in 2021 and have since worked for numerous schools. Spending time with these students of all ages and interests brings me great joy, and I know that further pursuance of music will bring the same fulfillment to students for years to come. Read More

If I have a student that is needing more help than usual I will help the student understand things in a way that is helpful for them. My favorite part of teaching lessons is the personal atmosphere where students feel comfortable and able to ask questions in order to learn in a style that best suites them. I love when a student genuinely understands or masters a concept and feels success and accomplishment. I strive to let all my students experience that successful joy through their learning process.
