Piano Books: For the age under 5, I use Music for Little Mozart by Alfred. For the age 5 to 9, I use Prep Course by Alfred, Piano Adventure Pre primer lever. I consider myself to be an extremely encouraging teacher. It is important for the student to know they are supported in their musical journey. At the conclusion of each lesson, I give the student a goal that can be reached by the time of the next lesson. Any improvement in the student's musical ability is immediately noted and rewarded. I exhibit patience with the student knowing what it takes to develop new skills and I work hard in helping each student feel at ease in expressing themselves.
