I have been teaching since my undergrad years starting in 2001 as adjunct faculty at Walnut Ridge Elementary School until 2004. Since then I have taught privately at students homes part time. I believe that weekly lessons are the most beneficial for a students learning and productivity. In addition to her studies at Vanderbilt, Blythe studied at the Institute of European Studies, in Vienna, Austria. There, she had the opportunity of working with Ulrike Anton, and with Barbara Gisler-Haase, at Universiteat fur Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien. While an undergraduate, Blythe performed with various chamber ensembles and toured China with the university's orchestra.
