My experience is derived from my work as an instructor at an Ann Arbor music school. I have taught a wide range of ages, and enjoy every age I teach for different reasons. I believe everyone has something new to offer. I have played in punk, rock, and ska bands, as well as playing with certain groups at the music school. I have planned and orchestrated a summer camp and run rehearsals on a weekly basis, with groups of young kids, so I can definitely handle kids of any age. Read More

I am currently a Senior Music Education Major at Eastern Michigan University. I am a saxophonist in the EMU Wind Symphony, EMU Big Band, EMU Saxophone Ensemble, EMU Jazz Saxophone Sextet, Stone Tower Saxophone Quartet, Krangerson Duo, REMIX, and Funkwagon. I have also marched Quads for Impact Percussion, and the EMU Drumline. I also play drumset in several jazz combos. I typically spend some time getting to know the student, understand their desires and passions for music, and their own personal style. When I understand that I can gauge where the lessons should go. I have several different books for Saxophone Students that feature technique, solo repertoire and duets.
