Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

Hi! My name is Nish M. I am an improvising musician, specializing in Woodwinds (primarily the Saxophone and Clarinet), Composing/Arranging/Producing/Recording. I attended the Sydney Conservatorium of Music in 2010 where I studied Jazz Performance. I stayed in Sydney until 2020, where I did a lot of work as a session musician, (The Voice, Solange Knowles, Yolanda Be Cool, ++...) For the last 2 years I moved my life to the USA to firstly undertake a Masters program at the Berklee Global Jazz Institute, where I found myself studying and being asked to perform with some of the most elite musicians in the world (John Patitucci, Danilo Perez, Joe Lovano, Terri Lynne-Carrington, Bruno Raberg). I’m a woodwind doubler based in New York City; graduated with a degree in saxophone performance from Kennesaw State University in 2011. I’m passionate about music and enjoy sharing all the skills required to enjoy playing an instrument with my students. I spent years touring the world on cruise ships, international acts, and pit orchestras. I believe that in order to engage a student in the learning process, goals must be clear. I begin by asking new students what they want to learn. Many students are not sure what they want to learn, and this is to be expected. In this case, some trial-and-error is necessary; if a student is bored by Bach, maybe its time to see how he/she can relate to learning a simple tune by ear maybe a jazz tune like Summertime, or maybe the latest single on the radio. I love to see students grasp concepts. It is extremely rewarding to see students understand a concept and be able to explain how neat it is to a parent or friend. When I get a new student, I get to know exactly what their goals are. We set long term goals, and we make progress by setting manageable short term goals every week. I inspire the student to reach their goals by providing tools to help, and custom lesson plans that are fun and engaging. Read More
