After students have worked through this, we begin working on solo repertoire to get students excited to perform songs at their first recital! Once the student has progressed to have a grasp of the fundamentals, I will begin to introduce solo repertoire appropriate for their first recital performance. I'm always open to trying different songs and even encourage my students to find songs that they want to play.
