Hello! My name is Kathleen, and I am a working professional singer and passionate piano and voice teacher with 8 years of teaching experience. I have sung in choirs and performed in Musical Theatre throughout my life. Some of my favorite past roles include Fiona in Shrek! I personally practice SOVT, where we start with light humming, use a semi-occluded means of vocalizing (such as lip trills or a straw in water) to gradually warm-up the vocal cords and bring the breath under the voice for adequate support.
