My teaching methods include traditional and Suzuki technique with an emphasis on music theory.  Young students benefit from Suzuki technique using activities and games to foster learning.  For young beginners as well as adult, I start with Hal Leonard's Essential Elements and String Builder and scale studies. The key to accomplished lesson program is to wrap the lessons around what a students interests are. I began playing cello in elementary school and started teaching cello lessons while I was in middle school. I love to teach and share music with my students. I graduated Manhattan School of Music in 1977  and proceeded to get my Masters degree and teaching certificate.
