The student may need help working on music from school so sometimes that becomes the priority. Other times, the student is interested in learning a song for their own enjoyment, and that will guide the direction of the lesson. Every student is an individual personality with different background, age and ability and I use differentiated instuction for each of them to get the best out of them. I have taught violin and piano for the past 25 years to students age 4 and up. At Rowan University, I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education.   I have performed with Bridgeton Symphony, Rowan University Orchestra, Lansing Symphony in Michigan and the Goodnight string quartet.   My teachers have included Bertram Greenspan-Rowan University, I-Fu Wang-Michigan State University and Nancy Jan-Bay-Atlantic Symphony.  Currently, I play violin with the Philharmonic of Southern New Jersey. I enjoy performing in a string quartet for weddings and also chamber ensembles for various events in the area.
