I have taught violin and piano for the past 25 years to students age 4 and up. At Rowan University, I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education.   I have performed with Bridgeton Symphony, Rowan University Orchestra, Lansing Symphony in Michigan and the Goodnight string quartet.   My teachers have included Bertram Greenspan-Rowan University, I-Fu Wang-Michigan State University and Nancy Jan-Bay-Atlantic Symphony.  Currently, I play violin with the Philharmonic of Southern New Jersey. I enjoy performing in a string quartet for weddings and also chamber ensembles for various events in the area. My teaching experience dates back to my college days, as I began teaching private lessons part time 8 years ago, and have been consistently teaching students in my home studio for the last 5 years. Encouraging regular practice on a consistent schedule is one of the key points I like to emphasize for younger students, as it tends to help the student progress and gain a passion for the instrument.
